Arranging an Appointment

Office visits are by appointment only. Appointments may be scheduled online or by calling our office. Please be familiar with your insurance policy, copays, and deductible fees in advance and if your plan requires an insurance referral from a primary care provider.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, the courtesy of 24 hours advance notice is appreciated.

Ample time is allotted for each patient. Since emergencies are never refused, they occasionally disrupt the office schedule. This priority for emergency care ensures the highest quality care for all of our patients.

Medicare assignment and private insurance will be accepted in most cases. Please call the office to verify that your plan is accepted.

Please be aware that if you need a referral from a primary care physician to be seen by our endocrinology specialists, you must arrange that before the date or your appointment.

In addition, please be aware or your copay and in-network deductible prior to your appointment. We are happy to accept flex or HAS cards, etc.

At the time of your appointment, we will need pertinent information including the policy holder’s name, contract number and group number (if applicable).

Prescriptions / Refills / Lab Results

For prescription refills, please call the office during reception hours, 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 9am-1pm on Fridays. Messages will be checked periodically throughout the day and every effort will be made to refill prescriptions by day’s end. Please allow 1-2 business days depending on the time of your call and the nature of your prescription.

Please allow 1-2 weeks if an insurance appeal, prior authorization, or medical necessity letter is required.

Lab results with changes to regimens will be mailed (and soon e-mailed), and you will be called if your lab results require immediate attention.

To maintain quality care at a reasonable cost and to minimize the cost of billing and collection, we ask that you pay for services as they are rendered.
